For over four decades, Crystal Stairs has been a lifeline for South Los Angeles families and is the largest child care provider in the area. RIPE was brought in to elevate their brand and revamp the website. Through research and strategic workshops, we crafted a truly inspiring brand story that serves as an extensible foundation for the organization’s messaging.

The new website not only tells their story effectively, but also streamlines fundraising efforts, ensures scalability, and offers an intuitive user experience. This digital platform is a centralized hub for all communications and furthers Crystal Stairs’ mission to improve child care across California.

Our Solution

RIPE executed a strategic roadmap that took Crystal Stairs to the next level and beyond:

Our Results

All the goals in the project charter were met and improvements were seen across the board for Crystal Stairs:

  • Brand Execution: With minimal branding guidelines, RIPE was able to evolve and expand upon the brand identity. We created new branded elements, a modern aesthetic, incorporated bench-marking research, and pushed the envelope for how the NPO’s brand can be expressed.
  • User Experience: A key ROI measurement was to vastly improve the user experience and content organization. In particular, to clearly display the many programs and services while also delineating their relationship to each other.
  • Increased Traffic: By incorporating SEO-rich content, intuitive UX design, and clear CTA’s – the revamped website has increased traffic by making it user friendly for parents to find child care and to participate in programs.
